Section 4 consists of 67 teams and is located in the south-central part of the state. Moravia won the Class C championship last season giving Section 4 thirteen wins in the NYSPHSAA State Tournament.  In 2022, Newfield earned the crown, winning in the tournaments return from Binghamton to Glens Falls. Sidney has won the most titles in Section 4, winning the State title 3 times followed by Binghamton with 2.
