Niagara Falls, long time member of the NFL League, has left the league. They will play as an independent schedule through the 2026-27 season. Winner of 25 State championships, Section 6, along with Section 5, is one of the two largest sections in the state in regard to participating schools. Randolph was the last Section 6 team to win a state title, taking home the Class C title in 2023. Buffalo East (Traditional) leads all teams with 5 State championships. LaSalle and Maple Grove are next in line with 3 titles each.
